Gene occurrence by genomes

In the interactive visualization below rows of the heatmap represent gene groups and columns represent genomes. There are about 100 genomes and about 3000 gene groups. Both the columns and rows have been grouped by statistical similarity. The statistical similarity grouping is indicated by the "triangle tree" annotations.

A rectangle of the heatmap is cyan if the gene group occurs in the genome or it is red if the gene group does not occur in the genome.

Gene groups consist of all genes with identical distributions in the genomes.

Please click on the triangles to zoom in on the clustering. Click on the arrows to back up the clustering tree or click "to root" to return to full resolution. Click on the heatmap to zoom down to one entry.
